Library hours of operation can be found both on the Library tab or, if not signed in to myRedDragon, via the Library hours page on the SUNY Cortland website.
Research Help
For Research Help, please visit the Contact/Help page or click the Ask A Librarian button to chat with a librarian 24x7.
The Ask a Librarian button is available on the right-hand side of the following locations:
- Memorial Library website
- Library tab in myRedDragon
- ONESearch
Online Materials and Tools
You may access the library’s online resources from the Library tab in myRedDragon. Under Library Search:
- ONESearch searches all of the library’s resources. When asked, choose to authenticate via myRedDragon on the popup.
- Publications searches the library’s journals and newspapers.
- Databases lists the databases from A-Z and by subject.
- Research Guides lists the research guides by subject area. They include recommended library resources, websites and contact information for the subject librarian.
In addition to Research Help, online assistance for ONESearch is available by selecting the ‘Search Help’ link in the top bar of ONESearch.

Library Account / Renew Books Online
You may access your library account online. SUNY Cortland faculty and students should select ‘Use myRedDragon’. The Your Library Account guide explains how to see what items you have checked out and renew them.
Interlibrary Loan
If you would like to request an article not within Memorial Library’s collections, you may request it via ONESearch. Requested articles will be delivered electronically. See the Interlibrary Loan page for additional details.
