Campus Artist and Lecture Series (CALS)

2023-2024 Campus Artist and Lecture Performing Arts Series (CALS) Season:
Students of all ages will be admitted free to all CALS events.
General Admission ticket prices will be $5 each unless noted otherwise.
Reminder:  CALS events are open to the public.

CALS Event #1:  Konrad Paszkudzki Trio
     When and where:  Saturday, November 4 at 7 p.m. in Old Main's Brown Auditorium

     The Trio shares a love of classic jazz, has a sound steeped in tradition, remains creative and inventive and leads the way in today's world of swinging, sophisticated jazz.  Known for nimbleness on their respective instruments, each artist prides themself on clean, graceful, toe-tapping execution.  Their sound is classic yet timeless in its mode of expression, captivating ardent lovers of the jazz idiom and Tin Pan Alley tradition alike.            Visit Artist Website

CALS Event #2Flame   Effective 3/22 this event has been cancelled.  It is intended to be rescheduled in Fall 2024.
     When and where:  Saturday, March 23 at 6 p.m. in the Corey Union Function Room
          *Free admission for everyone; Tickets still needed.
           This is a collaboration between CALS and the SUNY Cortland Disability Resources Office.
           Arrangements have been made so that there will be free parking available at the 'pay lot' diagonally across the street from Corey Union.  There should be sign outside the lot saying something like "Free Event Parking."

This high-energy American Cover band performs globally playing all your favorites, from the classics through today's hits.  Flame's mission is to change the world through music.  Their performances help change how the public perceives people with disabilities.  They also increase the awareness and acceptance of all people, regardless of their differences.

Ticket Information
     Tickets for CALS events can be picked up Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. in Corey Union, Room 406 starting one month prior to each performance/presentation date.  Not able to come to the office in-person?  Tickets can be reserved and then picked up at the venue starting one hour prior to each event.

Group Ticket Sales
     For information about group ticket sales/reservations please call the Campus Activities and Corey Union Office at 607-753-5574 between the hours stated above.

Ticket Exchanges
     All ticket sales are final; There will be no refunds or exchanges on tickets.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Access
     Needs of patrons with mobility challenges will be accommodated.  Advance notification would be appreciated to help us make your experience more comfortable.
