Pregnancy and Nursing Accommodations

Students who are pregnant or nursing and are seeking accommodations, should contact the Title IX Coordinator. The Title IX Coordinator will discuss what resources and accommodations may be available and will help facilitate conversations with the necessary offices or academic departments. 

Employees who are pregnant or nursing and seeking accommodations should contact Human Resources. 

Complications in Pregnancy 

Students who are experiencing medical complications as a result of their pregnancy or birth of their child, should fill out the Student Accessibility Request Form. Once the form is completed, a follow up meeting will be scheduled with a member from the Disability Resource Office.

Nursing Station

The SUNY Cortland Child Care Center offers a private and comfortable location for any member of our campus community who needs to nurse/breastfeed or pump. Students may contact the Child Care Center (607-753-5955) to schedule times to use the facility.
