Lindsey Brown Will Receive National Recreation Award
Rho Phi Lambda, the national honor society in the field of recreation, parks and leisure services, will recognize Lindsey J. Brown, a recent graduate from SUNY Cortland, as the 2010 Outstanding Graduate Student.

Heather Bridge, a seasoned early childhood educator who taught at SUNY Cortland for 10 years, will retire on Aug. 31. She has been designated as assistant professor emerita of childhood/early childhood education.
Robert L. Rubendall to Direct Outdoor Education
Robert L. Rubendall, who has spent 30 years overseeing environmental and experiential education at highly respected institutions in New England and Wisconsin, was named the director of outdoor education at SUNY Cortland on June 1.
David Berger Honored for Faculty Service
David F. Berger became the seventh SUNY Cortland faculty member to receive the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Faculty Service at the 2010 Undergraduate Commencement on May 22.
